The death of a 46-year-old woman in Edmonton this month is no longer considered suspicious by police.

Officers were called to a multi-unit building near 104 Street and 106 Avenue around 1:10 a.m. on July 18 by emergency medical services where the woman was found deceased and a man found at the location was taken into custody.

Police said in a Tuesday news release the Edmonton medical examiner completed an autopsy, and the manner of the woman’s death has been deemed non-suspicious.

The man taken into custody was released and the Edmonton police investigation has since concluded.

Police said they would release no further information.
