Tornado watches, severe thunderstorm warnings, downpours, high winds and some hail. Boy, I picked a good night to go to bed early! (insert eye roll) I’ve always been a fan of a good storm, so to wake up to the news that I missed the best one we’ve had this year was quite disappointing.
We got a good amount of precipitation last night and I’m very excited to see things green up again. Everything was starting to look very sad. There were a lot of sun-scorched lawns around the neighbourhood, mine included.
There is a 40 per cent chance that we may see some showers or a thunderstorm in the early evening. It won’t be too hot today with a high of 19 degrees and an overnight low of 11 degrees.
Friday is shaping up to be a beautiful day with sunny skies and a daytime high of 23 degrees. Just about perfect, in my opinion.
