Why is it that when you’re sitting around a campfire making s’mores, the smoke is pleasant, relaxing and part of the experience? I guess when you can’t escape it, it makes everything more unpleasant.

The smoke will be sticking around until at least tomorrow. Today stays cool with a high of 16 degrees. There is a 60 per cent chance of showers overnight with a risk of a thunderstorm.

Tuesday there is a 60 per cent chance of showers in the morning with a high of 19 degrees.

Continue to limit the amount of time you’re spending outdoors and don’t push yourself to limit the amount of wildfire smoke you are taking in. You may experience symptoms such as increased coughing, throat irritation, headaches or shortness of breath. If you suffer from lung diseases, such as asthma and COPD, you may be more sensitive to the effects of wildfire smoke.
