I would like to take a moment to appreciate the beauty of last night’s storm. It was worth staying up a little late to watch as it rolled through. In my little pocket of the world, we were not hit by a direct blow but it was clear that other parts of the central Alberta were hit quite hard.
There were reports of ominous cloud formations in the Red Deer area and twoonie-sized hail in Sylvan Lake. My Twitter feed is filled with amazing home videos of the lightning that mesmerized me through the evening hours.
