Hundreds of high school grads and their beaming parents took part in Archbishop MacDonald High School’s drive-in graduation ceremony Friday at the Edmonton EXPO Centre parking lot.

Parents took photos from their cars, and the ceremony was projected on giant screens, as students walked across an outdoor stage to receive their diplomas. The unorthodox ceremony was in response to ongoing COVID-19 health restrictions.
