Maybe if I ask nicely it will happen. Tinder dry conditions and high winds have made for a scary situation in Parkland county. Crews have been battling the blaze overnight and some residents have been evacuated in the area west of the hamlet of Tomahawk which is more than 100 kilometres west of Edmonton.
Right now it hasn’t started raining maybe a drop here and there but mostly gloomy and windy. I’m hopeful that the skies will open up and we will get the rain we desperately need.
