With the Edmonton Oilers down two games in their first-round playoff series, local fans are determined to show their support with another vehicle rally before the puck drops.

The Oilers are set to take on the Jets in Winnipeg for game three beginning at 5:30 p.m. local time, and organizers are inviting participants to bring their flags and don their jerseys for a parade beginning at 2:30 p.m.

The Oil Drop Convoy will meet at the Heritage Town Valley Centre Superstore at 11835 26 Ave. SW, with another rendezvous point at United Sport & Cycle at 7620 Gateway Blvd, before heading to Rogers Place.

Drivers can expect some traffic delays along the route, Edmonton police said in an advisory, noting that it could impact major routes including Gateway Boulevard, Whyte Avenue, 109th Street and the Walterdale Bridge.
